What does it mean to be Best in Town?

Kindful Health is excited to announce that our Tyler location was voted by the readers of the Tyler Morning Telegraph’s Readers Choice Award as the “Best in Town” Winner 2024 as Best Hospice. But what does it mean to be “Best in Town”? In our case, I think it represents several different layers including planning, people and popularity.

To become “Best in Town” the Kindful Team Tyler had to have a plan. For Kindful Health this starts with our values of Truth, Excellence, Accountability, Mercy (T.E.A.M.). The foundational elements of our desire to be one of the best hospice providers in the country are built on top of these values and we hire to our values which confirms for the caring professionals we attract that they know they are joining a company focused on care excellence.

To become “Best in Town” the Kindful Team Tyler had to have great people. We recognize we are a service company that is only as good as the team members we hire, train, coach and accountable to high standards. The good news is that if you build a company focused on providing care excellence it is very attractive to people who want to work at a company that is highly aligned with their goal of providing best in class care. We are nothing without our team members and the culture of Kindful embraces those team members for whom anything less than the best is not an option.

To become “Best in Town” the Kindful Team Tyler had to earn popularity. While our team members have decades of experience delivering high quality patient care, we have only come together as a group in the past year. So to have the readers of the Tyler Morning Telegraph take the time to vote for Kindful as “Best in Town” is a true testament to the quality care experience this amazing team delivers on a day in and day out basis.
