Kindful Health has been named a 2025 CAHPS Honors recipient, based on the feedback of the people who know our care best—the families we serve.
The CAHPS Hospice Survey (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) is used by Medicare to measure how patients and families experience care. Kindful Health earned top scores in 20 of 24 categories across 2024, including communication, symptom management, and emotional support.
What makes this recognition meaningful isn’t the numbers. It’s what they represent—presence, reliability, kindness. A daughter from Dallas told us, “I’m sorry it took me so long to see it. You were patient and gave me the space I needed. I wish I had signed up months earlier.”
We care for patients wherever they call home—private homes, senior communities, or skilled nursing. Our focus on hospice allows us to center every decision on what’s most important: comfort, trust, and dignity.
Our approach is shaped by a few key beliefs
- Truth matters. We communicate clearly, avoid drama, and follow through.
- Excellence is the standard. We aim to be more than average. Our team trains to “Super Bowl contender” standards, not just to get byKH-Employee-Handbook-20….
- Accountability means showing up, on time and prepared. If we say we’ll be there, we are.
- Mercy guides our tone. Every visit, call, and chart note is grounded in compassion.
This way of working isn’t just written on a wall. It’s how our people operate each day. As our handbook says, “Kindful seeks to out-care the competition” and believes that “nursing and care delivery is both an art and a science.”
To the families who filled out the survey, thank you. You help us keep growing, learning, and serving better.
